Lesvos Cycling Club (Po. Sy. Lesvos) was founded in 2015 as a natural consequence of the great increase of cycling in the island of Lesvos in every sector. Due to the need for official representation of the members of the cycling community, it was decided the establishment of such a Club. Po. Sy. Lesvos is not a company but a non-profit collective.
Its members are unpaid and selflessly dedicate their free time, in order to promote the development of cycling of all kinds, urban, mountain, sports, touristic, etc.
It still claims infrastructure and proposes, tries to highlight the problems that exist by promoting solutions, in order to facilitate and make the cyclist’s life safer.
It is a supporter and helper to those who have the same aims or take the lead and these may be organizations or businesses with the intention of highlighting and developing cycling through events, activities and happenings.
